Laser Auto Focus System

The Laser Track auto focus system maintains a preset focal distance
by tracking the profile of a target object using capacitive sensing.

This microprocessor based system uses a stepper motor linear actuator
integrated into the gas jet / lens assembly of a laser beam delivery system.

The auto-focus assembly is positioned to the proper focal distance via a
keypad/display, using the jog function.

Once a focal distance is established, the system is then calibrated to this
position by using the calibrate function.

The system is then ready to track the profile of the target oject in real-time.

The Laser Track auto focus system consists of a keyboard/display,
system controller and the Auto-focus assembly.
Typical accuracy is +.0005"@ 1.0"/sec rate of change.
